INSTRUCTIONS

Dear guest,
this is Gianni Stanghellini, owner at Walk About Italy.
This is the contract for the tour that you have requested.

Sorry for the length of this document but this is what the Italian law requires. The average time to complete this contract is 4 minutes.

We have highlighted in green the parts that we believe are more relevant to understand the program, inclusions, payment details, cancellations fees.
Parts of the contract written in red are mandatory.
Parts of the contract written in blue need to be filled in only if applicable to your case.

Once that all the necessary fields have been filled you need to draw your signature with your mouse (if you are using a computer) or with your fingertip if you are signing the contract with a smartphone or tablet and press the button "Agree & sign" at the very bottom of this document. Done!!

In case you are signing this contract during the purchase of a Walk About Italy tour through the e-commerce page, please notice that we will revise in our office optional services (extra nights) or discounts that you might have selected during the booking on our e-commerce page. If we need to apply some corrections to the items that you have selected and/or purchased, we will contact you through email as soon as possible.

SECTION 1

PRE-CONTRACTUAL INFORMATION FORM

Ex. Art. 34 of the Tourism Code - Legislative Decree 79/2011, as required by Attached A - Part I of Legislative Decree 62/2018

Premise

The combination of tourist services proposed corresponds to the definition of "tourist package" pursuant to EU Directive 2015/2302, art. 3 numbers 1) and 2), as implemented in the Italian legal system with Legislative Decree n. 62 of 21.05.2018 which modified the articles 32 to 50 of the Tourism Code, Legislative Decree n. 79 of 23.05.2011. Pursuant to the aforementioned legislation, the traveler will benefit from all the rights recognized by the European Union applicable to a "tourist package".

ART. 1) FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS OF THE TRAVELER

In compliance with the provisions of the aforementioned EU Directive no. 2015/2302, the traveler has the right to receive the following information:

SINGLE SUPPLEMENT (if applicable): 640 euro
DEPOSIT: 300 euro per person
BALANCE is due 95 days ahead of tour beginning.

INCLUDED SERVICES

Accommodation: hotel in Siracusa, hotel on Lipari Island.
Transportation: All transportation along the tour. Boat ride on the Aeolian islands.
Meals: All breakfasts, 5 lunches and 4 dinners.
Included visits, excursions, or other services: 1 walking guide. Boat ride on the Aeolian islands. Entrance ticket for all the special events. Tourist tax, all taxes.
Language of the service: guided tours and other activities related to the tour will be rendered in English.

Payment method: credit card charge or bank transfer

Penalties for the withdrawal of the traveler

Pursuant to art. Of art. 41, paragraph 1 of the Tourism Code, the traveler is entitled to cancel the reservation and withdraw from the contract stipulated with Walk About Italy for the chosen tour. The cancellation fee is determined by the unquestionable choices of Walk About Italy and expressly accepted by the customer through the signing of this agreement.
Any traveler who withdraws from the contract before departure for any reason, even unexpected, will be charged as follows:

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you must cancel your reservation, your cancellation fee will be determined according to the policy outlined below. The cancellation policies take into consideration the costs Walk About Italy incurs long before travelers ever depart.
Percentage charges are calculated on total trip cost.

35-65 days 60%
0-35 days 100%

There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

This contract can be given to a third party, in case of availability.

Exceptions ot the cancellation policy: Travelers can, in exceptional circumstances, terminate the contract without paying cancellation fees before the start of the package, as an example, in the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances that occurred in the place of destination or in its immediate vicinity and which have a substantial impact on the execution of the package or on the transport of passengers to the destination.

We strongly recommend the stipulation of insurance policies with your insurance consultant to cover cancellation penalties, as well as health care policies, payment of medical expenses, baggage protection or compensation for inconvenience due to forced travel extension and which take into account, but not limited to, the unexpected causes of Covid-19 .

Tour eligibility for people with reduced mobility and particular customer needs: the tours organized by Walk About Italy are not suitable for the participation of people with reduced mobility and pathologies that prevent correct mobility, any participation in the tours will be under the exclusive responsibility of the traveler.

Travelers must have appropriate documents to enter the Italian country.

Walk About Italy Insurance coverage

Walk About Italy of Gianni Stanghellini is equipped with third party travel liability policy for tour operators: Unipol Sai (insurance number 100272975).
Walk About Italy of Gianni Stanghellini is also equipped with insurance coverage in case of risk of bankruptcy of the tour operator: Protection Nobis n. 6006002404/M.

AUTHORIZATION TO USE YOUR IMAGE (Release)

For the purposes of the copyright law (RD 633/1941) and the regulation on the use of the images of others (art. 96 and following RD 633/1941), we inform you that during the guided tour, photographs will be taken and / or video footage in which you can be photographed and / or video taken. According to the unquestionable choices of Walk About Italy, this material will be used for publication on websites, social networks (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp etc.), brochures or by inserting it into documents intended for dissemination, in full compliance with the regulations current applicable on the matter and the protection of the dignity and dignity of people.

Given the above, the person concerned as a declarant authorizes, without claiming anything, Stanghellini Gianni's Walk About Italy, based in 53100 Siena, Via Duprè n. 3, the shooting and recording, also through third-party companies, of photographic and / or audio video material relating to the event described above in which it was portrayed, as well as the possession, use, publication and dissemination of the aforementioned material for propaganda purposes and / or advertising in any medium, such as, for example, through websites, social networks, brochures or through insertion, in documents intended for dissemination.
