CANCELLATION POLICY

If you must cancel your reservation, your cancellation fee will be determined according to the policy outlined below. The cancellation policies take into consideration the costs Walk About Italy incurs long before travelers ever depart.
Percentage charges are calculated on total trip cost.

95+ days €300 p/person (non-refundable administrative fee)
65-95 days 30%
35-65 days 60%
0-35 days 100%

There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

This contract can be given to a third party, in case of availability.

Exceptions to the cancellation policy: Travelers can, in exceptional circumstances, terminate the contract without paying cancellation fees before the start of the package, as an example, in the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances that occurred in the place of destination or in its immediate vicinity and which have a substantial impact on the execution of the package or on the transport of passengers to the destination.

We strongly recommend the stipulation of insurance policies with your insurance consultant to cover cancellation penalties, as well as health care policies, payment of medical expenses, baggage protection or compensation for inconvenience due to forced travel extension and which take into account, but not limited to, the unexpected causes of Covid-19 .

Walk rating guide

Distance: Generally around 5 to 8 km / 3 to 5 miles per day, depending on the tour and terrain.
Elevation gain: Noticeable but not demanding. Some uphill and downhill stretches may be present, though never steep or prolonged.
Who it is for: Suitable for beginners who want a slightly more active experience, as well as for regular walkers looking for a relaxed but rewarding pace.

Distance: Moderate daily walking time and distance, suitable for travellers who enjoy being active outdoors for a good part of the day.
Elevation gain: More consistent and clearly noticeable, though still within the reach of anyone with a basic to good level of fitness.
Who it is for: Best for active travellers who are comfortable walking for several hours a day and can handle some uneven terrain and sustained inclines.
